From the moment you get out of your car you will know you have found the perfect place. The Manning House Bed and Breakfast invites you to relax and play. You can kick your shoes off, turn off your cell phone and kiss city life goodbye. The manning House Bed and Breakfast is the place for you. You can sit on the screen porch, relax in the sunroom, sit on the pier or just sit by the lake in the shade. You can let all of your cares be washed away. The Manning House Bed and Breakfast is the perfect place for weddings, family reunions, church retreats, and other group events.

A Wonderful Place to Spend those Special Occasions

If you are looking to rekindle your relationship, spend a wonderful honeymoon, or celebrate your anniversary at The Manning House Bed and Breakfast. Beware of the king sized beds with four inch memory foam toppers, for they may cause you to oversleep. They have beautiful lace trim sheets with a high thread count. You will also receive other special treats.

Relax and Enjoy our Many Amenities

When guest awake, they are allowed to be as laid back or as active as they choose. The screen porch, sunroom and den overlook the pier, lake and beautiful garden in the spring and summer. We have a gorgeous 800 feet of level water front and lots of shade trees. Guest may sit on the pier or by the water, on chaise lounges, hammocks or sun bathe. You can also use our big umbrellas, swing or sit on the outside patio under the big shade trees. All of the common areas to the Country Inn are available to guest. Two sunrooms, den, library, game room with pool table and lots of exercise equipment and formal living room. Several rooms offer a great view of the water. If you are visiting the lakeside paradise from Atlanta, you can leave work at 5:00 p.m. and still watch the sunset over the lake at 6:30-7:00 p.m. You gain an hour coming from the Eastern Time Zone into the Central Time Zone. The Manning House Bed and Breakfast is made for playing for a day, a weekend, a week or longer. You are welcome to bring your boat. We have a boat launch. Come and play. In the morning grab a robe, get your coffee and relax. You will be served a nice breakfast. For those of our guest spending their honeymoon or anniversary, you can receive chocolate covered strawberries and a complimentary bottle of wine or champagne. There are always snacks, soft drinks and bottled water available for our guest.
